Life, it can pack up a punch sometimes, right? You wake up with determination and before you know it the day runs you over and you’re just trying to stay on your feet.
–> You might be holding some lottery tickets that didn’t pan out.
–> You might be fighting with loved ones or friends.
–> You might have had the best of intentions to stay positive but the day ran you over.
–> You might be struggling to find the sun through the clouds.
–> You might be dealing with sickness.
–> You might be working at the worst job ever.
You’re facing something hard right now, I know it.
But listen to me, every little thing is going to be okay. It might not all come together today, tomorrow or this week but it will all be okay.
I’m so excited to share this story from my coach Susan. She absolutely blows me away with her strength, determination and desire to change her life and the lives of those around her.
Her top weight was 205 pounds and she had hit a plateau at 175. She was looking to find something that would help her get past it, but was skeptical if the 21 Day Fix and Shakeology was the right thing. We talked about it and I asked her to trust me and if she wasn’t happy she could send it all back. She made a commitment and with the 21 Day Fix and Shakeology was able to get down to 150 pounds.
I am so proud of all her hard work and she’s proof that you can find your health at any age! But don’t take my word for it, here is what she says:
“I think as we get older, we think we can’t do it. Or it’s for younger people. But we can do more than we realize if we’d just try.”
Monday has such a bad reputation. It’s the most hated day of the week. And this Monday, the first after a holiday…dreaded. No one wants to go back to work or school and face another week full of long days before another weekend.
Today I challenge you to flip your stance on Monday. Don’t fear Monday, embrace it. Monday is a chance to have a new start. Whatever happened last week is now behind you and there is a brand new week in front of you. Step into your routine with a smile instead of a grimace.
–> Change the way you look at Monday and maybe Monday won’t be so bad after all!
What are you doing today that is going to start your week off great?
Have you ever looked at my posts and wondered what exactly I DO as a coach?

“I don’t have time to workout. You don’t understand how busy I am”
Truth: Everyone is busy. You are no more busy than anyone else. Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “It’s not a priority” because that’s the truth. <— Ouch. 🙈
I’m not special and I don’t have any super powers or extra hours in my day. Here is what helps me fit in workouts with a busy schedule:
–> Be selfish with your time before anyone is awake. That might mean sacrificing some sleep. I promise losing 30 minutes of sleep to do a workout will actually make you feel more energized throughout the day.
–> Put yourself on your own calendar. If you don’t plan a time to do it, your day will run you over.
–> Push yourself when you don’t want to. If you wait to feel like working out, you’ll be waiting a long time. You can’t feel yourself into an action but you can act your way into a feeling.
–> Find a workout accountability partner that you can text/call that will push you through your excuses.
Just do it. <— Simple advice but completely spot on!
