Never Miss a Monday!

It’s Monday and you know what that means?!? Time for my favorite workout rule…NEVER MISS A MONDAY!

It’s week 2 of Cize and the moves got a lot harder and I’m not quite as coordinated. No shame here, I had fun and got sweaty. That’s all that matters! I’m considering these my “before I learn to dance” videos. I figure I’ll have some amazing “I can move my ass” videos in a few more weeks

Truth: I’ve been struggling to workout recently. I don’t know where my mojo is and I have just felt like I’ve been in a funk forever. Today, I decided I would no longer wait for it to kick in…I just did it anyways.

Sometimes you have to act your way into a feeling instead of waiting to feel like it. I’m so glad I pushed myself because I had so much fun.

Workout Wednesday: Cize: The End of Exercise

Here’s the truth: when I heard about Cize I was skeptical. I didn’t plan on doing it because I’m not a dancer. I didn’t think it would be enough of a workout either.

BUT….I’m so glad I gave it a chance because this is the exact program I needed right now. First, I’m having so much fun. I was in such a workout funk and this program has me excited to “push play”. Second, it’s an amazing workout. I finish feeling absolutely amazing and completely drenched!

Bonus: I’m learning how to dance! Shaun T. breaks down all of the moves step by step and before I know it I’m doing a dance routine!

While I was in Nashville I had the privilege of working out with Shaun T. Before we got started he talked about not just going through the movements of exercise but really focusing on something while you’re doing it.

My focus: to be strong, even when I don’t feel strong.

Cize: Day 4

–> I still look like a white girl dancing.
–> I’m still having so much fun and I don’t care that I look ridiculous!

Before I started this program I was in a workout burn out. This is exactly what I needed to have fun and enjoy myself again!

Workout Wednesday: Cize

Let me start by saying that:
–> I am not a dancer
–> I didn’t think I would like this workout
–> Sharing this is completely out of my comfort zone.

What I learned after 30 minutes:
–> Having fun is the best way to sweat!
–> Workouts with kids are fun…check out my photo bomber!
–> If I can do this, YOU CAN DO THIS TOO!
–> Dance like no one is watching and Cize the day!

Seriously, this 30 minute workout rocked! It went by so fast, it got me so sweaty and it was fun!
