This is my go to leg workout and I tackled it this morning bring and early. There was some grumbling, a few mumbled swear words and a lot of sweat!
I have a love/hate relationship with leg day.
–> I feel so strong and empowered when I’m done
–> It gives me a nice defined legs
–> It challenges me and makes me push through when I want to quit.
–> Stairs and toilets the next day – need I say more.

I think all too often we like to focus on just the physical transformation and today I would like to spotlight a new coach in my downline.
This is her transformation and in 21 days she changed her body on the outside, she lost 10 lbs and 10 inches, but more importantly she had an internal transformation as well. I had the pleasure of talking to her yesterday and I was absolutely blown away with her story.
Here is what she told me:
–> She’s no longer depressed or anxious.
–> She feels confident again and she hasn’t felt that way in years.
–> Two serious health issues, that she’s been dealing with for years are correcting themselves.

Your body is an amazing thing and you need to respect it by feeding it healthy food, taking care of it with exercise and loving it where it is today. Even if you’re not at your goal you need to love your body for all that it is today. Your body is doing amazing things for you as you work towards your goals.
Get up and workout before your brain realizes what you’re doing!
–> You’ll have more energy all day!
–> If you wait until later in the day you might skip it.
–> Its easier to fight excuses early because they’re still half asleep!
–> It’s one less thing on your to do list for the day.
–> You have a fresh coffee buzz, use it!

I’m not doing anything that I couldn’t teach you how to do. I don’t have any special secrets that help me be successful. The only thing that I’m doing is showing up every single day, working hard and pushing towards my goals. I have a huge desire to make my dreams come true. I want to buy a home, be able to travel and have freedom and financial stability.

Have you ever let your eating get out of control and before you know it the scale has creeped up 5 pounds and you feel bloated and gross? That was me earlier this week.
You might think that because I’m a fitness coach I am perfect with my nutrition and never struggle with eating bad foods. But the truth is I struggle just like everyone. I love Cheetos, beer, cake and Starbucks. I usually live by the rule of moderation (good clean eating 90% of the time and 10% freedom). However, sometimes I slip and before I know it the equation is 50/50 and the scale starts creeping up and I start to feel gross. When I start to slip up I need a complete refocus. I usually do the Shakeology Cleanse but this time I tried the 3 Day Refresh.
Results: I lost 4.6 lbs and 2 inches off my waist.
The question I always get after doing a cleanse is “will the weight stay off?”
First of all, now that I’m done I’m putting my scale away for awhile. I only get on my scale when I’m doing a cleanse or following a new fitness program. Second, everyone’s weight fluctuates up and down a few pounds. I don’t use the scale as a measurement of my success. It’s just a tool to show that I’m detoxing my body and losing the bloating that was plaguing me.
But every time I do a cleanse my body has felt fantastic and has stayed the same shape afterwards until I let my eating slide again. Will it go up or down from here? I’m not sure because I don’t plan on being a slave to the scale. The point of this cleanse wasn’t to lose weight but to detox my body and refocus my mind.
