To get to your goals you need to…
Everyday isn’t going to be easy but nothing worth having comes easy, right?
Here’s the truth…

👊🏻 You have the ability to make this the best year of your life.
Time: It never seems to be on anyone’s side.
“I don’t have time to workout. You don’t understand how busy I am”
Truth: Everyone is busy. You are no more busy than anyone else. Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “It’s not a priority” because that’s the truth. <— Ouch. 🙈
I’m not special and I don’t have any super powers or extra hours in my day. Here is what helps me fit in workouts with a busy schedule:
–> Be selfish with your time before anyone is awake. That might mean sacrificing some sleep. I promise losing 30 minutes of sleep to do a workout will actually make you feel more energized throughout the day.
–> Put yourself on your own calendar. If you don’t plan a time to do it, your day will run you over.
–> Push yourself when you don’t want to. If you wait to feel like working out, you’ll be waiting a long time. You can’t feel yourself into an action but you can act your way into a feeling.
–> Find a workout accountability partner that you can text/call that will push you through your excuses.
Just do it. <— Simple advice but completely spot on!
Don’t let your before keep you from your after!
Before my workout:
–> I was half asleep
–> I was grumpy
After my workout:
–> I feel alive and awake
–> I feel strong and empowered
It doesn’t matter what your before looks like. All that matters is that you get to the after.
Have you ever tried to make a change in your life and everyone around you turned into an instant critic or hater?
–> You start working on your health someone is trying to sabotage you with cheat meals or telling you that you look fine the way you are.
–> You start to save money and others around you are talking trash and giving you a hard time for not going out with them or buying stuff to keep up with them.
–> You set boundaries for your life and everyone you know is doing all they can to stomp all over them.
Haters: They’re everywhere.
Do you know why they start to attack you when you’re trying to make changes in your life? It’s because you’ve stepped outside the status quo and have become a huge mirror, reflecting the changes they might need to make but don’t want to. It’s easier to hate on you than change.
It might look like they’re resentful of you but the truth is they’re resentful of themselves.
Don’t let all of those haters tell you what’s possible for your life…let their hate fuel you and find out what you’re made of!
Have you ever felt like life is just dragging you down with one difficult situation after another and it seems impossible to imagine things getting any better?
This is me right now. In the last week, it feels like everything has started to fall apart. It’s been one setback after another and it’s starting to wear on me. The hardest part is keeping my mind positive through it all.
But, I know that out of setbacks come comebacks. If I’m going to make it through this I have to change my thinking. I’m just an arrow that’s been stretched back and I’m waiting for my launch. All I can do is focus, keep my eye on my target and wait!
Keep the faith, great things come out of glorious disasters!
Get up and workout before your brain realizes what you’re doing!
–> You’ll have more energy all day!
–> If you wait until later in the day you might skip it.
–> Its easier to fight excuses early because they’re still half asleep!
–> It’s one less thing on your to do list for the day.
–> You have a fresh coffee buzz, use it!
Do you prefer to workout in the morning or the evening?
Have you ever felt like your life was completely out of control and the things you wanted were very far out of reach? Your heart was full of big dreams but you had no idea how you would make them happen? All you wanted was stability but your life was filled with chaos?
That was me last year when we moved to Washington. Our life of stability had come crashing down and we had to start over. I knew I wanted to stay home with my kids but I needed a way to help support our family financially. It was in those dark moments that I decided I would give Beachbody my all. I would do everything I could to grow my business and keep my dreams alive.
It’s been one year since I made that decision and In July I earned my biggest monthly income to date. My income grew from $249.85 last July to $3,283.76 this July. Over 1,000% growth in one year. WOW!
Do I share this to brag and boast about how awesome I am? NOPE. In fact, it scares me more than anything to share this with you. But I need you to know that if I can do it, SO CAN YOU!!
I’m not doing anything that I couldn’t teach you how to do. I don’t have any special secrets that help me be successful. The only thing that I’m doing is showing up every single day, working hard and pushing towards my goals. I have a huge desire to make my dreams come true. I want to buy a home, be able to travel and have freedom and financial stability.

Confession: I have fallen off the wagon with my healthy eating. I finished the 21 Day Fix Extreme and kept my momentum going for almost two weeks. Then I slowly started to slide down that slippery slope of little treats here and there. I truly think moderation is key to having a healthy lifestyle and having treats isn’t bad. But I haven’t been having anything in moderation. I’ve been indulging and I’m now feeling pretty unhappy with myself.
What I could say is, “I’ll just refocus on Monday and really get back on track” but why wait until Monday?
What I could say is, “I’ll just enjoy the weekend. I’ve already let go, I might as well enjoy myself.” but that’s just going to take me further from my goals.
You can face today with fierceness and find a way to attack your goals or you can find an excuse. The choice is always yours.
Life will throw you a lot of things that will make excuses easy to find but overcoming them and pressing forward anyways is where the magic happens.
