Workout because you love yourself.

I spent a lot of energy hating my body over the years. I would look in the mirror and see all the things I didn’t like and never see the true beauty and strength that lied under my perceived flaws.

But, hating my body didn’t serve me. It destroyed my confidence and made me feel miserable about myself. Is this you too?

I had to change my thinking and love my body in all its glory.

–> My body grew three amazing kids, it carried me miles and miles when I ran a marathon, it holds my kids close in embraces, it’s strong and doesn’t get the credit it should.

I love my body enough to take care of it and challenge it daily.

Life is too short to be at war with yourself and hate your body. Love yourself for all that you are and take care of yourself not because you have to, but because you can.

  1. Nice post. And an ethos I try to live by, I’ve tried in the past doing things because I hated what i saw…..it never worked. However as you’ve said once you accept it all and love yourself everything becomes a lot clearer!
